The Crystal Coast Wrestling Show on Dec 10, 2011 was the first event sponsored by Griffie Promotions and was met with some success and some dissapointements.  The estimated attendance was at 300, and they were a very responsive and interactive crowd. 

On this night fans were treated to Old and New School wrestling.  Caprice Coleman and Christian York kept a fast pace match for 15 mins.. these two equally gifted wrestlers battled back and forth niether one ever truly getting the upper hand.  After several near falls for both wrestlers, Coleman hit a super huricanrana from the mat while York was sitting on the top rope.  It happened so fast the crowd was stunned. 

In special challege tag match, The Barbarian and his manager Michael Roman took on a Chris Hamrick and Demolition Ax.   Hamrick made the challege after Michael Roman had declared to stop Christmas for the fans in attendance earlier on in the show.   It seemed early on that the team of Hamrick and Ax were going to easily defeat the Barbarian and his cowardly manager Michael Roman.  Hamrick’s moonsault form the top rope to the floor on Barbarian and Roman put gave his team the advantage only to be thwarted later by some underhanded tactics by their opponents.  With the referees back turned The Barbarian and Roman switched in and out at will confusing the referee, cutting off the ring, and isolating Hamrick from his partner.  But when Hamrick found an opening to tag in Ax, the tide shifted once again only to come to an abrupt in as Chris Hamrick had Roman rolled up for a pin fall, The Barbarian gave him The Kick of Fear and Roman falling back onto Hamrick was awarded the pinfall for his team.

The semi main event of the night saw Tatanka wrestle Jeff Lewis Neal in a 20 min war.  Tatanka’s experience seemed to get the better of the The Feature Presentation.  Realizing that it was not going to be able to beat the wrestling legend fairly, Jeff Lewis Neal used a foreign object, hitting Tatanka while the referee wasn’t looking.  He quickly covered Tantaka for the pin fall.  But as the referee raised his hand for the victory the object fell out from underneath his arm.  The referee restarted the match and Tatanka hit Neal with a swinging side slam he calls Wykea, to finish him off.

The main event for the evening was a rematch of  the I Quit Match from ECW PPV, Guilty as Charged 2001, pitting The Innovator of Violence Tommy Dreamer agains The Enforcer C.W. Anderson.  This match quickly escalated into the Hardcore Matchup that it was destined to be.  The use of a kendo stick, wet floor sign, metal trash can, chair, and even the ring bell had the fans cheering for more hardcore action.  In the end, Tommy Dreamer got CW Anderson to say I Quit again proving why he is still  HARDCORE!
